Medical Restriction Review with Job Match
A review of current medical documentation to identify restrictions combined with a worksite visit to document job demands. A comparison will then be made to determine if suitable work is available for the worker based upon identified medical restrictions. Recommendations will be made for appropriate accommodations.
This assessment will assist in identifying appropriate work for injured or ill employees with temporary or permanent restrictions.

Return to Work Coordination
Our Senior Consultants will meet with the employer, the worker, and physicians, specialists or other health care professionals to develop a comprehensive return to work plan that is medically supported and provides clear objectives and responsibilities. Consultants are available to monitor the plan and ensure all parties adhere to the agreed upon directives. Objective assessments such as PDAs, Ergonomic Assessments and FCEs may be recommended to support the Return to Work Plan.

Case Management
Comprehensive medical and vocational case management for catastrophic and non-catastrophic injuries to ensure appropriate rehabilitation interventions are provided including diagnostics, treatment, consultation and assessment. Case Managers coordinate rehabilitation efforts and facilitate communication between health care providers to maximize outcomes.

News and Updates

•    In 2002, the average lost-time work injury in Ontario cost an employer $ 59,000. In 2006, the cost increased to approximately $ 98,000.
•    A business operating on a 6 per cent profit margin in 2002, would have needed nearly 1 million in sales to make up for the $59,000 lost that year from a single injury. Today, that same business would need over 1.5 million in sales to recover the costs of a single lost-time injury.
